Thanksgiving 2008
Rob, Shauna, Summer, Amy,Rico(her dog) came from Idaho. Misty came from California.
We woke up this morning and ate some breakfast and then went on a walk it was so beautiful. We went a mile up and a mile down. It is rainy here so there is not much too do so we are hanging out in the house. We are going to go to a buffet and eat dinner so we don't have too cook we can just hang out. Then we are going to come home and watch some movies and play games. They came here yesterday and staying until sunday and we are so happy to have them here! I hope everyone has a good thanksgiving!!!!!!

Scenic, AZ
Orlando & I arrived in Scenic, Arizona the 29th of October, the weather was great and we had a good drive and arrived around 5 p.m. We are here for the winter.
The weather here is so nice, we enjoy being back. Goldie & Sandy, George & Ina were here when we got here and Dan & Raedean arrived yesterday (Sunday).
Cal, Lanora & Rod (our neighbors) put a Welcome back sign, made us feel good.

SISTERS
My sister's came to visit the 4th, 5th and some of the 6th of Septmeber. We had a really fun time. We went to the fair and my sister Debbie from St. Louis hadn't been to a fair in a long time so we had a fun time checking everything out. We went to St. Anthony and Idaho Falls, stopped by Shauna's work so she could see her Aunts. We played games and got to catch up on everyones news. On Saturday we all went to Malad and met with Albert & Marla, Rodney & Donna, Bill & Sue and had lunch and then went over to the park and visited. We had a really nice visit.
John was here for John Brann, his dad passed away and John came and helped him and just to be here for him. Shauna, dad & I went over to the funeral home and then dad & I drove out to the site and picked Amy up and went to Mackay for the burial. They had military rites for him and it was really nice. It was a beautiful drive and we were able to spend time with Amy.
Uncle Ron (Aunt Verlee's husband) passed away on the 6th. We will miss him.
Orlando was able to play in his first 2 golf tournaments in September, didn't win, but had fun playing.
Orlando & I go out to the driving range and I am able to hit the ball a lot better so practice, practice, practice.
We are having really nice weather but I hear it is going to get cold, better start packing my stuff for Arizona.

My sisters & I decided it would be best for Nancy to get feeling better before they come to stay.
Orlando went golfing, I bought him a new driver (golf club) for our anniversary in September so he had to go try it out. Orlando golfs with Ray his brother and Ray's brother-in-law Vernon. He is getting better and enjoys it very much.
Ina called and invited me to go to the temple tonight, it is her Stakes Temple Day and she has been asked to lead the music. I love going to the temple and I don't go as much as I should so I am glad she called and invited me to go.
Pugsley (our dog) is still doing really well for as old as he is (13 going to be 14 in November).
Summer has registered for school, I can't believe she'll be in the 8th grade and is a teenager.
Also I can't believe summer is almost over and it is time for school to start and for the fair.

August 2008
August 2008 is a busy month for Orlando & me. We are trying to get the yard cleaned up so we started by hauling wood that was in the back yard to the dump. I don't know how many trips we made to the dump but we sure feel better and the yard looks much better. Yesterday and today we took tree limbs and branches to the dump. Yesterday while loading and picking up things I scared a snake and thank goodness it went away from me. I don't know who was the most scared it or me but I can make a good guess (me).
My sisters Nancy and Kay might come to visit August 14th until Sunday. Nancy just got back for a trip to our sisters Debbie's place in Missouri just outside of St. Louis. Nancy got sick back there and when she got home to Kellie's she went to the doctor and she has pneumonia so I don't know if they will still be able to come or not.
My brother Albert is going to be operated on next week at the Huntsman Cancer in Salt Lake.

New to the blogging thing
My granddaughter is helping me set this up and i going to try to keep it up in current. Rob Shauna and Summer came down and we went to the driving range and hit a bucket of balls. We had a lot of fun. Shauna brought down a roast for us to eat for dinner and Amy is coming up it will be alot of fun.
